This summer, families seeking an enjoyable adventure can meet iconic characters like Superman and Wonder Woman at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, situated in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
This exciting Super Hero Summer event, featuring popular DC characters, will run until Labor Day and offer a wide range of activities for attendees.
David Bracamonte, the director of creative for special events and entertainment, shared with WTOP, “We’ll have our nightly light show, known as the Battle for Justice, where superheroes clash with villains to determine who will emerge victorious. Additionally, our DC Super Hero Academy invites guests to engage in an interactive show, allowing them to unleash their inner superhero.”
Attendees can also take part in the Revenge of the Riddler Scavenger Hunt, a thrilling opportunity to solve puzzles throughout the resort in order to rescue kidnapped Justice League members.
For fans of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, the superheroes will make special appearances on weekends.
“If you’re eager to meet our characters in person, be sure to visit on weekends—Saturdays and Sundays—when superheroes will be arriving from the Hall of Justice,” Bracamonte emphasized.
The superhero theme extends to the resort’s pool area as well, featuring engaging activities like DC trivia and movie nights. These events allow guests to enjoy classic superhero films while relaxing in the water.
