While Valentine’s Day is still on the horizon, the spirit of love is already blossoming with the upcoming annual Dog Wedding fundraiser hosted by BARCS.

Grown Up Field Trip: Game On, Friday, January 23, from 7 to 10 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Gather your friends for a competitive evening filled with fun—enjoy Mario Kart on the IMAX screen, a life-size Hungry Hungry Hippos game, and Nintendo-themed mini golf, all while sipping on drinks and enjoying a kid-free atmosphere.
Restorative Storytelling for Emotional Wellness, Saturday, January 24, from 1 to 3 p.m., BMA Lexington Market. Angel King Wilson from Silent Books Publishing will lead this engaging workshop focused on storytelling as a tool for achieving personal growth and wellness.
Dog Wedding, Saturday, January 24, from 6 to 10 p.m., M&T Bank Exchange. Life can certainly be challenging, but it’s much more enjoyable with a special companion. Join in the celebration of the union between two beloved dogs, Rooney and Wendell, at the 5th Annual Dog Wedding fundraiser to support BARCS.

BRB (Baltimore Record Bazaar), Sunday, January 25, from 12 to 6 p.m., Peabody Heights Brewery. This family-friendly, free event will feature live DJs, craft beer, food trucks, and over 33 vendors showcasing vinyl records, tapes, CDs, stereos, books, art, vintage items, and music memorabilia.
Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra Centennial 2026, Sunday, January 25, at 5 p.m., The Theater at Creative Alliance. Join the celebration of 101 years of Baltimore’s unique mandolin orchestra, consisting of mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos, mandobasses, and classical guitars directed by Joel Michael-Schwartz and Mark Linkins.
