The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is excited to announce the return of its festive Halloween bus, Monster Flash, for two special events on the weekend of October 24 and 25.
This family-friendly initiative will allow residents to explore Monster Flash, a creatively decorated “haunted” bus that adds a seasonal twist to the county’s Flash bus rapid transit service. The festivities will kick off on Saturday, October 24, at Twinbrook Library from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a stop at Germantown Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The fun will continue on Sunday, October 25, with Monster Flash parked at Marian Fryer Town Plaza from noon to 4 p.m.
In past years, MCDOT has collaborated with Montgomery County Public Libraries to enhance the Monster Flash experience, offering activities such as storytime, dance parties, themed crafts, games, and tours of the bus.
