Pride Month is an annual celebration that takes place throughout June, offering numerous opportunities to feel proud in Montgomery County, Maryland! To mark this occasion, we have compiled an extensive list of ways for you and your family to express your pride all month long across the region.

MoCo Pride Prom
Silver Spring Civic Building

May 29 | 7 pm to 10:30 pm

MoCo Pride Prom is designed specifically for LGBTQ+ high school and community college students from Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. This event provides a safe space for students to celebrate by choosing their attire freely and enjoying a night of dancing with whomever they wish.

Join in for a cozy and festive night at the LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour at Corella Café in Bethesda, Maryland. This event features light refreshments for purchase and offers a warm environment for mingling and socializing with friends or meeting new people.

Takoma Pride
Parade: Carroll Avenue
Street Fair: Laurel Avenue
June 7 | 10 am – 2 pm
Cost FREE

Takoma Park will celebrate Pride with a vibrant Pride Parade followed by a Street Fair. Participants will march in the parade leading to the fair, where LGBTQ+ organizations and allies will share resources, alongside enjoyable activities like face painting, crafts, food stands, and more. Everyone is invited to this family-friendly event.

Rockville Pride
Rockville Town Square

The City of Rockville’s Human Rights Commission is gearing up for the seventh annual Rockville Pride. Scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026, the celebration will feature interactive elements, live performances, informative booths, opportunities for HIV testing, and hands-on activities for children and adults alike.

Author Reading and Q & A with N.N. Nicky

Join the MoCo Pride Center for an engaging author event during Pride Month! N.N. Nicky will be in Bethesda to discuss and read from his new LGBTQIA+ short story collection, That Missing Piece.

Pride Family Day at Glen Echo Park

Cost FREE

This event is a collaboration between Glen Echo Park and Montgomery County Council Vice President Evan Glass, featuring the fourth annual Pride Family Day! Enjoy activities such as an interactive chalk maze, arts and crafts, complimentary carousel rides, and much more.

Open Hearts Mic Night
MoCo Pride Center
June 20 | 5pm – 8pm
Cost FREE

This exciting community performance event, hosted in collaboration with the Trans Celebration and Planning Committee (TCAP) and MoCo Pride Center, will feature the inaugural MCPC Open Mic Night—dubbed the “Open Hearts Open Mic.” Performers aged 14 and older are invited to showcase their talents.

Drag Bingo: Pride
Hammer and Stain Rockville
June 20 | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Join us for a lively afternoon filled with sass, sparkle, and bingo at Drag Bingo: Pride, hosted by the fabulous Bombshell Monroe. Get your tickets for just $25, and remember to register by June 13th!

Pride in the Park: A Comedy Show

June 3 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Cost FREE

Prepare for a night of laughter as LGBTQIA+ comedians from the troupe Improbable Comedy present stand-up routines that explore themes around relationships, family, and love at Pride in the Park. The event kicks off at 6:00 pm, with food and beverages available for purchase. This show is for attendees aged 17 and up.

Board Game Night
MoCo Pride Center
June 21 | 2pm-5pm
Cost FREE

Gather your friends and join us for a delightful board game night at MoCo Pride Center! The event, which occurs on the first and third Sundays of every month, will be hosted from 2 PM to 5 PM on the second floor of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center.

Drag Bingo
BlackRock Center for the Arts
June 6 | 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Kick off Pride Month in style at the ultimate Drag Bingo event hosted by BlackRock Center for the Arts. Join the BlackRock Divas, including Tula and Regina, for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and fun at Drag Bingo.

Poolesville Pride 
Locals Farm Market
June 13 | 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

Celebrate Pride UpCounty at the inaugural Poolesville Pride Fest. Attendees can look forward to enjoying delectable locally sourced food and beverages, alongside local LGBTQIA+ artists and vendors, capped off by an exciting performing arts talent show.

Pride Lake Tour by Kayak
Black Hill Discovery Center
June 11 | 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Experience a serene paddle and marvel at local wildlife with fellow LGBTQIA+ members during the Pride Lake Tour. Each participant will be provided with a kayak and life jacket, but don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and possibly an extra pair of shoes as things might get a bit wet.

Live in Your Truth Nights
Veterans Plaza
May 29, June 12, June 29 | 6:30 pm

LIYT Nights & Drag Duels consists of a dynamic series featuring live music, comedy performances, choreographed dance, and more. This event promotes vital advocacy causes while providing an inclusive atmosphere for community bonding through entertainment, arts, resources, and cultural exchanges.

Pride in the Plaza
Veteran’s Place
June 28 | 12 – 8 pm
Cost FREE

As Pride Month draws to a close, come together for Pride in the Plaza, a day to honor the LGBTQ+ community. This event will feature local artists, pop-up shops from businesses, and complimentary HIV testing, making it one of the most memorable highlights of MoCo Pride Month!

Pride on the Pontoon
June 30 | 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Black Hill Discovery Center

Join us for a scenic cruise aboard a pontoon boat on Little Seneca Lake. Enjoy the tranquility of nature while connecting with other LGBTQIA+ individuals during this special Pride Month outing. It is advisable to bring a jacket or blanket as the evening air can sometimes be cooler on the water. Tickets are available for $8.
