Dust off your blue suede shoes and get ready for an unforgettable night at “Vintage Vegas,” a vibrant tribute to the iconic headliners of Las Vegas. This exciting event will debut at Magooby’s Joke House on Sunday, August 2, starting at 7 p.m.

Featuring a live 13-piece “little” big band, this show promises a perfect blend of humor and classic hits. From Elvis Presley to Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton, and Frankie Valli, “Vintage Vegas” is a celebration filled with laughter, energetic performances, and a dose of nostalgia.

The show also shines a spotlight on local talents who have found success beyond their home turf, such as Elio Scaccio and Larry Noto. They truly embody the spirit of performers who have made their mark.

Elio Scaccio, a member of The Sicilian Tenors, hails from Perry Hall and has dedicated his life to music. He studied jazz vocal performance at the university level and further honed his skills with classical training at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Scaccio is a versatile artist, captivating audiences with his ability to cross genres, including classical, pop standards, Italian ethnic music, and vintage rock.

Larry Noto, from Bel Air, is an Emmy-nominated stand-up comedian with a wealth of experience in Las Vegas and New York City. He has had the honor of opening for well-known comedians like Brad Garrett, Richard Lewis, Bob Saget, and Jon Lovitz. Additionally, he is the lead vocalist for Larry Noto & The Little Big Band, which has played at events like the Avena Maryland Italian Festival and the Charm City Fringe Festival. Noto is a multi-talented artist, having co-authored “The Opening Act: Comedy, Life and the Desperate Pursuit of Happiness” with Kevin Cowherd, and acted in Dan Rodricks’ play, “No Mean City: Baltimore 1966.”

Together, Scaccio and Noto will transport the audience to a Las Vegas showroom with their blend of captivating songs, engaging stories, and sharp one-liners, ensuring an evening of swinging tunes, timely punchlines, and delightful nostalgia.

Tickets for general admission are priced at $40, while VIP tickets are available for $50. Attendees can purchase their tickets through the Magooby’s Joke House website.
