Get Ready, Baltimore! Banana Ball Is Back Next Summer!

Share

Following the successful sold-out performances of the Savannah Bananas baseball team in Baltimore last year, excitement is brewing as two additional teams are set to showcase their skills at Oriole Park at Camden Yards during the upcoming summer.

The Party Animals will face off against the Indianapolis Clowns in a thrilling doubleheader over the Fourth of July weekend, scheduled for July 2-3, 2027.

This event is part of the expansive Banana Ball World Tour, which will visit a total of 79 stadiums across 74 cities, extending to international locations for the first time, including Monterrey and Tijuana in Mexico, as well as Winnipeg and Toronto in Canada.

Owner Jesse Cole described the tour as “the most ambitious tour in Banana Ball history.” He emphasized the initiative’s objective: “Our goal is to spread Banana Ball to as many enthusiasts as possible and redefine what can occur on a baseball diamond. This tour accomplishes just that.”

The Banana Ball Championship League has garnered attention for its unique blend of athleticism and entertainment, captivating fans with stunts, dance routines, lip-syncing, and other engaging performances. It’s reminiscent of how the Harlem Globetrotters have transformed basketball.

The league features six teams, including the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Indianapolis Clowns, Loco Beach Coconuts, Firefighters, and the reigning champions, the Texas Tailgaters.

Those who are eager to witness the Indianapolis Clowns and Party Animals in action in Baltimore can visit Bananaball.com/tickets to enter the 2027 Ticket Lottery. However, potential attendees should act quickly; the entry period is set to close on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

It is essential to note that entering the lottery does not guarantee ticket availability. The league will conduct a random drawing, giving selected individuals the opportunity to purchase tickets as they become available.

Individuals whose names are drawn in the lottery will receive direct communication regarding the subsequent steps to secure their tickets.

Further details, including game times and additional event information, will be unveiled soon by the league.

The Indianapolis Clowns last made an appearance in Maryland on July 31 and August 1, facing off against the Loco Beach Coconuts at Prince George’s Stadium, the home ground of the Baltimore Orioles’ Double-A affiliate, the Chesapeake Baysox.

In August 2025, the Savannah Bananas took on The Firefighters at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, an event that featured lively music, a player batting on stilts, and special appearances by Orioles legends such as Adam Jones and Nick Markakis.
