After the robbery was reported, law enforcement began searching for the suspect. Officers found a group of teenagers approximately two miles away, near the intersection of Great Seneca Highway and Wisteria Drive. One individual in the group matched the description of the suspect. When he noticed the police, he distanced himself from the others and was subsequently detained, but no firearm was located on him.

As officers approached the remaining teens, one individual briefly entered a wooded area before returning. A K9 unit was deployed to search that area, leading to the discovery of a loaded P80 handgun with an extended magazine. Detectives later confirmed that this was the weapon used in the robbery.

The police arrested 17-year-old Khalil Ingram, who had entered the wooded area, and 18-year-old Tayvion Williams, who was found to be in possession of the firearm. A fourth teen was interviewed and released without charges.

The 15-year-old suspect has been charged as a juvenile with armed robbery, first-degree assault, and several firearm-related offenses. He is currently being held at the Cheltenham Youth Detention Center.

Ingram faces adult charges for possession of a handgun, possession of a regulated firearm by a person under 21, and possession of a firearm without a serial number. Williams has been charged as an adult with similar offenses. Both Ingram and Williams are being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, awaiting a bond hearing.
