The spirit of Baltimore continues to shine brightly, with exciting news emerging about a collaboration between Devin Allen, the curator of the Scout Art Fair, and the Baltimore-based athletic apparel company Under Armour. This partnership will be showcased at the Scout Art Fair taking place this upcoming weekend during Artscape 2026.
Devin Allen has established a strong connection with Under Armour through his ongoing collaboration, titled “From Baltimore, For Baltimore.” This initiative allows him to channel his creative storytelling into Under Armour’s performance apparel and athletic lines. For this weekend’s event, both Scout staff and significant local partners will don specially designed limited-edition DVNLLN x SCOUT shirts, thanks to this unique partnership with Under Armour.
However, the exclusive apparel isn’t just reserved for staff and officials. Under Armour is generously gifting these shirts to the first 50 attendees who buy artwork from the Scout exhibit, showing appreciation for their support of local creativity and investment in Baltimore’s vibrant arts scene. Those who wish to purchase a DVNLLN x SCOUT shirt will also have the opportunity to do so at Under Armour’s Brand House located in the Baltimore Peninsula.
Devin Allen gained national recognition for his impactful photographs during the Baltimore Uprising, even earning a spot on the cover of TIME magazine in May 2015. Remarkably, he became only the third amateur photographer to achieve this distinction. In June 2020, TIME again chose one of his photos from the Black Trans Lives Matter protest for its cover.
Scout at Artscape, a key feature of the festival, was established in 2025 by the acclaimed artist and Baltimore native Derrick Adams. This platform aims to connect both emerging and established artists with new audiences and collectors, while offering bold presentations of their work at accessible price points.
Every booth at the Scout Art Fair will showcase artwork priced between $150 and $5,000. A portion of the proceeds from individual sales will support Create Baltimore’s programming. Create Baltimore collaborates with the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture, and Entertainment (MOACE) to produce the Artscape festival.
It’s important to note that the Scout Art Fair will have separate operating hours from Artscape. The Scout hours are set for Friday, May 22, from 1–6 p.m., Saturday, May 23, from 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and Sunday, May 24, from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. at the War Memorial Building located at 101 N. Gay St.
Artscape 2026 will occur over Memorial Day weekend at War Memorial Plaza on Saturday, May 23, from 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m., and on Sunday, May 24, from 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
