According to law enforcement officials, at approximately 2:15 a.m., an Infiniti sedan collided with a parked Howard County Police Department vehicle in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road. Following the collision, the driver fled the scene, prompting an officer to initiate a pursuit.
A short distance later, the sedan crashed into a residential retaining wall, about one mile from the initial incident. Evidence from the scene, including tire marks, indicated that the vehicle careened over two front lawns, leaving debris behind and uprooting a street sign in the process.
