New Openings and Announcements

Broadway Market introduces a fresh addition this week with the launch of Soul Smoked BBQ, which opens a permanent stall on Friday, May 29. Soul Smoked BBQ has been a popular weekend pop-up at the market and is also a regular participant at the Baltimore Farmer’s Market, where it will continue to serve customers alongside its new location in Fells Point.

In bittersweet news, the beloved Heritage Smokehouse announced it will close its doors once its lease expires in August. Located in Govans, this establishment has delighted patrons for five years with its superb meat offerings and refreshing drinks. The owners are actively exploring new opportunities, and there is hope for their return in the area this fall.

Brew at the Zoo

The much-anticipated Brew at the Zoo returns to the Maryland Zoo on May 23 and 24. This annual fundraising event promises a fantastic atmosphere complete with live music, a watermelon-eating contest, unique drink stations positioned throughout the zoo, and an impressive selection of over 80 craft beverages available for sampling.
