Community organizers are calling on local volunteers to help support the South Germantown Park 5K/10K/15K running event on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at South Germantown Recreational Park. This exciting fitness event—part of the annual Bishop’s Events, LLC race series—brings together runners of all levels and encourages community involvement right here in Montgomery County.

The volunteer shift runs from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM EST, and organizers are looking for about 20 volunteers to assist with important on-course activities, including staffing water stations and cheering runners at the finish line. This opportunity is ideal for community groups, teens, kids (with adult supervision), adults, seniors (55+), and international volunteers.
