Secure your passes now for the 115th edition of the My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase Races, taking place on Saturday, April 11. This event is one of the most historic and fiercely competitive days in Maryland’s timber racing calendar. Sponsored by PNC, the venue will welcome attendees starting at 10:00 AM, with the first race kicking off at 1:30 PM. Details: The My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase Races represent one of the oldest and most esteemed days of timber racing in Maryland, and it marks the inaugural event of the Maryland timber Triple Crown. Since its inception in 1909, this anticipated celebration of equestrian sport has symbolized the arrival of spring in the scenic landscape of Harford County. The event will feature four captivating steeplechase races, including the prestigious My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase Race, backed by The Butler Cabin and Maury Donnelly and Parr, boasting a purse of $50,000. Other races include The John Rush Streett Memorial and The Thomas H. Voss Memorial, each with purses of $20,000, along with The John D. Schapiro Memorial, offering a purse of $15,000. The event is presented by PNC.

Besides the thrilling races, attendees can look forward to a delightful day at the Manor, featuring live bluegrass music from the Mayo Family Band, a variety of horse-themed merchandise tents, and a selection of food trucks. No individual tickets are necessary; instead, parking passes can be purchased at www.manorraces.com. Additionally, parking passes will also be available for sale at The Wine Merchant, Dover Saddlery, Hess Liquors, and Bradley’s Liquors. Options include General ($60) and Preferred ($80) Parking Passes, which can be acquired on the day of the event (CASH ONLY).

A highlight of the event will be the popular Lead Line pony race, dubbed the Mini Manor, which is set to commence at 12:30 PM. Young enthusiasts are encouraged to participate; entries can be submitted at usponyracing.com. Bring your family along for a day filled with outdoor excitement and premier jump racing.
