“Mirror & Myth” is a captivating new pop-up that has just opened in the vibrant Mount Vernon district of Baltimore. This unique venue blends aspects of a retail space and a theater, offering a refreshing twist on conventional shopping experiences.

At Mirror & Myth, guests are transported into the enchanting world of a fictional long-lost starlet. Her tale unfolds through a captivating short film, accompanied by live performances. The venue is masterfully styled to mimic the starlet’s mesmerizing residence, showcasing an array of unique treasures that are available for purchase. Visitors can browse through custom fabrics, artisanal scents, vintage home goods, and antique furniture—each item steeped in its own story, allowing every visitor to become a part of this narrative.

Step into the world of The Hallowed House.

The Hallowed House, the creative vision of siblings Carolyn and Christopher Hallowell, aims to evoke nostalgia and transport visitors to different realms. Their brand combines home décor and lifestyle elements into an experience that is both thought-provoking and immersive.

According to their website, “For us, spaces are canvases where curation and design become our artistry. It’s not solely about filling a space with character-rich items; it’s about crafting an atmosphere and capturing a lingering moment, reminiscent of a compelling story that you never want to conclude.”

Mirror & Myth marks the fifth chapter in a captivating ongoing narrative. In this installment, a mysterious disappearance of the leading lady in the moonlight adds an intriguing twist, leaving her home untouched and waiting for discovery.

As guests explore the enchanting rooms filled with antiques, décor, and unique finds, they do so in a cinematic setting where shopping blends seamlessly with storytelling.
