The 14th Annual Annapolis Film Festival is set to unfold over four exciting days in various locations throughout the city, running from Thursday, March 26, through Sunday, March 29, 2026.
This year’s festival theme, “The Heartbeat of Film,” emphasizes how cinematic storytelling fosters our connection to humanity and mirrors the world around us.

Events, films, and discussions will take place across five key venues in Annapolis, including The Graduate Annapolis, Maryland Hall’s Main Auditorium & Bowen Theaters, Asbury United Methodist Church, Key Auditorium & Mellon Lobby at St. John’s College, and Ramshead Onstage.
The festival kicks off on Thursday evening with the screening of “Power Ballad,” featuring stars Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas, at Maryland Hall. Following the film, an Opening Night After Party will ensue at the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, beginning at 10 p.m. The weekend schedule promises an array of films that examine the Black experience, religion, Latino/a life in America, and delve into gun culture in high schools across the United States. Attendees can expect a mix of genres, including documentary, comedy, drama, and short films.
Mornings will feature coffee talks, while panel discussions will include contributions from directors, actors, and key participants from the films. Additionally, the festival will host special events, including parties and competitions like Saturday’s Shorts Challenge.
Ticket package prices vary widely. The most affordable option is a six-ticket pack priced at $100, allowing access to six screenings or panels. Student passes are available for $125 and offer unlimited access to films and panels, along with entry to the opening night film and after party, plus priority seating for sold-out events. For those seeking greater access, the Blue Festival Pass is available for $200, mirroring the benefits of the student pass but for non-students. Members of the Annapolis Film Society can enjoy special discounts.
