Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital Following Crash in Dickerson, Maryland

DICKERSON, Md. — A motorcyclist is currently in critical condition following a serious accident on Saturday evening in Dickerson, as reported by the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD).

The incident occurred around 6:06 p.m. in the 19700 block of Barnesville Road, near Mount Ephraim Road, where a motorcycle collided with a vehicle. Emergency crews from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported.

The injured motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center in Baltimore for urgent medical care. Additionally, two other individuals involved in the accident sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and were also transported to the hospital.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
