Renowned Grammy-nominated artists Fat Joe and Jadakiss are set to present a live taping of their podcast, titled “Joe and Jada,” at the Pier Six Pavilion on Friday, September 18. This exciting event will include both the podcast recording and a concert featuring music from their extensive catalogs.
Joining Fat Joe and Jadakiss for the waterfront podcast taping will be Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott. During this special event, they will engage in conversations about the intersection of art, culture, and entertainment, and how these elements contribute to tourism, economic progress, and the future development of urban areas.

Earlier this year, in March, The Finn Group, alongside New York’s The Knitting Factory Entertainment, took on the management of Pier Six Pavilion. Their collaboration launched the “Soul on the Water” concert series in July, following the conclusion of the 25-year-running “Jazzy Summer Nights” series, which attracted over 100,000 attendees during its tenure.
This upcoming podcast taping and performance signifies not only a special stand-alone event but also a continuation of the newly revitalized experience at Pier Six Pavilion. Since reopening under the joint management of The Finn Group and The Knitting Factory Entertainment, the venue has welcomed more than 90,000 fans through 25 concerts, performances, and special events. The current season is set to run through late October.
Launched in May 2025, the “Joe and Jada” podcast features the two rap icons discussing a wide range of topics including music, sports, entertainment, and culture. Notable guests have included artists such as Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Allen Iverson, Teyana Taylor, Common, Ciara, and Raekwon. The podcast has gained significant traction, amassing almost one million followers across YouTube and various social media platforms. It was honored with the 2026 Shorty Award for Art & Culture Podcast and is available for streaming on Netflix, along with audio episodes on iHeartRadio and other prominent podcast platforms.
After concluding the podcast taping on Friday evening, Fat Joe and Jadakiss will perform live at Pier Six Pavilion, offering an unforgettable one-night-only show set against the backdrop of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The duo will showcase more than thirty years of hip-hop culture, iconic music, and unmatched collaborations for their audience.
Fat Joe has earned five Grammy nominations for his chart-topping tracks including “What’s Luv?,” “Lean Back,” “Make It Rain,” and “All the Way Up.” His partner, the three-time Grammy nominee Jadakiss, has not only distinguished himself as a solo artist but has also made significant contributions as a core member of The LOX.
