This unique display was revealed on Friday and represents a collaborative effort between Clay Ground and Lawyers Defending American Democracy.
Ellen Koplow, one of the creative minds behind the project, stated, “I envisioned a community initiative where individuals could come together to create tiles that express what democracy means to them. I aimed to empower them to recognize their voices; we are all part of this government, and we hold the reins.”

Ellen Hornstein from Lawyers Defending American Democracy expressed her organization’s enthusiasm for collaborating with Clay Ground, highlighting how art can be a powerful tool in the ongoing defense of the Constitution and its principles.
“This initiative resonates personally at this moment; it aims to forge connections within the community and help both local residents and attorneys amplify their voices,” Hornstein explained.
