Great Kids Events, a company based in Germantown and previously known as Andy’s Parties, has undergone a significant ownership transition after over 20 years of operation.
The founders, Andy and Paula Ross, have sold the business to Brandon Weston, who will continue to run Great Kids Events as it has been. The company specializes in children’s entertainment and event services and has successfully organized nearly 10,000 events while employing over 1,000 individuals since its inception in 2004.
“This business has been an incredibly meaningful part of our lives for more than two decades,” said Andy Ross. “Paula and I are tremendously proud of what we have built, the thousands of families we have had the privilege of serving, and the many people who have been part of our team over the years.”
Andy Ross will remain with the company for the next year to assist with the transition and to ensure continuity for customers. He expressed confidence in Weston’s ability to lead the company into the future.
Brandon Weston shared his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead Great Kids Events and build on everything Andy and Paula have accomplished. They have created a remarkable business and a tremendous legacy.” Weston aims to maintain the core values that customers appreciate while also bringing in fresh ideas and energy.
Great Kids Events reassured customers, employees, and event partners that operations will proceed as usual during this transition period.
