Germantown Traffic Stop Results in Arrest with Gun, Drugs, and Cash Seized

A traffic stop in Germantown led to the arrest of a driver on September 18, 2026, after police discovered a handgun and suspected illegal drugs in the vehicle.

Officers from the 3rd and 5th District Community Action Teams conducted the stop involving a gray BMW. While one officer interacted with the driver, another noticed a handgun on the floorboard near the driver’s feet.

In addition to the firearm, a search of the car revealed a significant amount of controlled substances, cash, and items indicative of intent to distribute drugs. The police department has shared video footage from two body-worn cameras that captured the incident.
