The Harbor Point Ice Festival is set to make a grand return to Baltimore’s waterfront on Saturday, January 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Harbor Point Central Plaza.

This year’s festival promises to transform the plaza into a magical winter wonderland featuring circus-themed ice sculptures and live entertainment. Attendees can look forward to interactive installations and live carving demonstrations taking place throughout the day. Expert sculptors will skillfully carve massive blocks of ice into stunning artistic creations right before your eyes. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to come experience the mesmerizing ice displays and enjoy seasonal treats along with hot beverages, which will be available for sale.

This year’s festival also brings a touch of carnival flair, featuring unique circus performances and lively characters roaming the plaza to engage visitors. Expect to see living statues and stilt walkers from Baltimore Hoop Love, as well as unicycle and tightrope acts from Michael Rosman’s Old Bay Circus Company, all eager to dazzle the crowd. Circus Stella will showcase an impressive canine performance, while Chi Akano (The Body Poet) will perform an aerial silks routine. Adding to the atmosphere, DJ 7oey will provide musical entertainment.

As hunger strikes, festival-goers can delight in a variety of food options, including loaded baked potatoes from Craving Potato Truck, indulgent funnel cakes from Funnel Fare, and nostalgic cotton candy and popcorn. Additionally, Koshary Corner will bring the flavors of Egyptian street food. Beverage offerings from Bar Movement will include kid-friendly hot cocoa, an Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned hot toddy, and a mezcal-infused hot cocoa.

The Harbor Point Ice Festival is completely free and welcomes everyone. You’ll find the Harbor Point Central Plaza located at 1310 Point Street, Baltimore, MD. This exciting event will occur rain or shine, so mark your calendars! For further information about the festival, visit Harbor Point’s official website.
