MARYLAND — Exciting new dining options are popping up all over Maryland, thanks to several ongoing developments.
A baker who rose to fame on “Cake Wars” has launched her first bakery in Maryland. Additionally, a restaurant has received approval to create a unique space within a historic train station, and a new food hall is set to open in Anne Arundel County.
A well-known chicken chain has opened a new location in Prince George’s County, while a Persian restaurant has debuted its second spot in Howard County. Moreover, a karaoke bar and entertainment venue catering to both families and adults has established itself at National Harbor.
Construction for Lib’s Grill at the former Sykesville train station is slated to commence in early 2026. The renovation will kick off with the removal of the existing kitchen addition, followed by safety upgrades and restoration of the building. Interior updates will be implemented afterward.
Wonder is set to open in Beacon Square, a new development opposite the Annapolis Town Center, in February. This establishment will offer food prepared on-site for both takeout and dine-in. Additionally, it collaborates with nearby restaurants to feature their menus through the Wonder platform.
BORO Kabob launched its second location in Howard County just before Thanksgiving, specializing in Persian cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes, including kabobs, saffron basmati rice, shawarma, fries, stews, grilled vegetables, mazeh, sandwiches, salads, and soups.
Popular Chicken Chain Opening New Location In Prince George’s
The southern-based chicken chain Raising Cane’s is set to open next week in College Park. The newest Cane’s restaurant in Maryland will officially open its doors on December 9 at 7400 Baltimore Ave., conveniently located near the University of Maryland campus.
‘Cake Wars’ Baker Opens New Shop In Bel Air
The eagerly awaited Tiffanee & Co Bakery has opened in Bel Air. Co-owner and pastry chef Tiffanee Blackwell gained recognition after appearing on Food Network’s “Cake Wars” in 2015, having initially started her bakery in 2011 from her home while working as a phlebotomist.
Karaoke Bar, Entertainment Center Opens At National Harbor
Restaurateur Chris Zhu has launched his second Live-K location at National Harbor, featuring 24 state-of-the-art private karaoke rooms. In addition to its late-night offerings, Live-K also provides family-friendly entertainment and birthday party packages during the day.
