With summer officially upon us, the city of Baltimore is set to embrace the warm weather with a variety of refreshing beverages and seasonal dishes. Here’s a preview of the exciting events taking place this week:

Openings & Announcements

Key Neapolitan and Crushed Velvet Ice are gearing up for their final weekend of the summer.

They will be bidding farewell with festivities that include live music and exciting prizes, making it a perfect opportunity for locals to enjoy these beloved spots.

Slutty Vegan is preparing for a move from the Baltimore Peninsula to a new location on Monument St., conveniently situated near the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus. This transition marks a new chapter for the popular eatery.

Rosé Season

One of the delightful highlights of late spring and early summer is the arrival of rosé season, providing an excellent reason to raise a glass to these exquisite pink wines.

At La Jetée, rosé is taking center stage with the introduction of a fresh selection crafted by the new Wine Director, Eliza Perkins. This exciting menu features 17 choices of rosés sourced from various regions in France.

On Saturday, The Beverly House, located in Hamilton, will be hosting its inaugural Rosé Fest, starting at noon. Attendees can enjoy over 20 different wines from around the globe, accompanied by live music, complimentary popcorn, and food available for purchase.

Midweek, on Wednesday, Sally O’s will join in the rosé festivities by offering a four-course meal that features dishes perfectly paired with an array of rosés.

In celebration of the season’s change, Costiera is offering half-price Rosé Cava while supplies last, inviting locals to indulge in this refreshing sparkling wine.

Pride Kickoff at Hotel Revival

On Friday, June 12, Hotel Revival will host a vibrant celebration to mark the commencement of Pride weekend, featuring an array of drinks, delicious food, and lively music.

Wine & Food Festival at the Fairgrounds

This Saturday, June 13, the Wine & Food Festival will take place at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. The event promises visitors live music alongside a diverse range of food and wine from various local vendors.

Sunday Spritz at BSC

This Sunday afternoon, the Baltimore Spirits Co. Cocktail Gallery will celebrate the season with a special spritzes and an oyster pop-up. It’s a great opportunity to indulge in some delicious flavors.

Summer Eco-Market at the Mill

Beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Whitehall Mill will host a summer market featuring an assortment of vendors and environmental organizations, alongside fresh oysters provided by True Chesapeake.

Supper Club at Boordy

On Wednesday, June 17, the highly anticipated Boordy Vineyards Supper Club series will make a comeback, featuring a five-course meal crafted by MasterChef winner Chef Michael Leonard alongside Chef Sophie Wang. This exquisite dinner will include dishes such as yuzu scallops served over parsnip puree and Peking duck confit.

Cocktail Class at OLAR

On Thursday, June 18, Of Love & Regret will collaborate with St. George Spirits to present a tasting and cocktail class. This event will feature hands-on instruction and complimentary snacks for attendees.
