A new bar and cocktail lounge named Luma is set to debut at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, located in Hanover, in early November.
Spanning an impressive 5,626 square feet, Luma will be situated adjacent to the Asian-fusion eatery, Luk Fu, right in the heart of the casino floor. The lounge will feature an array of offerings, including cocktails, shareable plates, four high-limit table games, comfortable lounge seating, a large LED screen for entertainment, and live performances.
James Reyes, Senior Vice President of Operations at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, expressed enthusiasm for the new venue, stating, “We are constantly evolving our property to meet the changing tastes of our guests, and Luma is just one way we are renovating space to reflect their desire for new experiences. As our signature social lounge, Luma will elevate any evening rendezvous. With premium cocktails, bites, music, and gaming, the guest experience changes with the night.”
Luma will operate on Sundays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.
To celebrate its grand opening, Luma will host celebrity appearances and special giveaways. The precise date of the opening will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
Currently, the restaurant is looking to fill the position of assistant general manager.
Since its establishment in 2012 near the Arundel Mills Mall, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland has garnered accolades, including six AAA Four Diamond ratings. Furthermore, it has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top hotels in Maryland, ranking among the top 10 in 2023.
The casino features nearly 200 live action table games and 4,000 slot machines, alongside a spacious Poker Room, two High Limit Rooms, and the Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio.
In addition, the hotel boasts 310 luxurious guest rooms, a spa, five opulent hotel suites complete with private in-room treatment areas, and an impressive collection of over 40 contemporary art pieces, including works by renowned artist Andy Warhol.
The venue also houses The HALL at Live!, an entertainment facility that hosts a variety of events.
